1. Anti-leakage
In actual operation, it is found that the main leakage point of the
ball joint is the flange where the ball joint and the pipeline are connected, so the connection between the ball joint and the pipeline is preferably welded, and flange connection is used as little as possible. The ball joint is arranged as close as possible to the elbow, that is, the ball center distance is as long as possible.
2. Anti-shedding rack
The compensation distance of the
ball joint is long, and the fixed bracket is subjected to large force. The fixed bracket must be firm and reliable. The pipe slide must be long enough (when installed, offset in the opposite direction of the displacement) and leave a certain margin to prevent the pipe from running over temperature. Otherwise, it will cause problems such as long-distance pipeline sliding brackets falling off the frame.
3.In the case of space permitting, in order to ensure safe operation, it is best to install the ball compensation without cold positioning.
4. On the long-distance straight pipe sections on both sides of the
ball joint, guide brackets are arranged at a certain distance, and the movable brackets should use rolling brackets or sliding brackets under the PTFE plate to reduce the friction force of the pipeline.
5. When the pipeline is laid in parallel with multiple pipes or the large pipes are arranged behind the small pipes, there must be enough space for the ball joints to be arranged centrally, so as to avoid the mutual influence of the balls and the compensation, and ensure the normal and free movement of the ball joints.
6.When the ball joint is arranged vertically, the first movable bracket close to the
ball joint must be provided with a spring support (hanger).
